Position Overview:
Reporting to the Country Manager for Argentina and Chile, you will be responsible for planning and executing activities to drive brand awareness and demand for Welch Allyn’s product portfolio with distributors and end users. Your superior critical thinking and problem solving skills will assist you when collaborating with area sales managers to ensure marketing initiatives help exceed revenue targets with special emphasis on Hospitals, Point of Sales and Medical Schools.

Key Responsibilities:
As Marketing and Sales support you will spend 60% of your time in the field, building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, and securing a solid knowledge of the marketplace. Using your strategic mindset you will use this in-depth knowledge to develop market analysis that shows the potential of each hospital in the region and the best way to support that potential. You will also develop market analysis to build a roadmap on the Medical Schools in Argentina and Chile. Finally, developing market analysis on our Retail sales will involve developing a plan to strengthen our brand presence in the market.
Your creative mind will come to the fore when after researching the market you propose ideas and strategies on the most cost effective ways of getting the product to the market. Another key part of your position would include investigating, evaluating and reporting on events, such as conferences and congresses, where our dealers participation is required, and looking at the cost effectiveness and the value of their participation.
Required Background:
You are seeking a career in a dynamic, growing international company. You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and are fluent in English and Spanish. Experience in developing and executing marketing support or medical sales would be a distinct advantage. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and a results driven attitude are essential. Exemplary problem solving skills and the aptitude to function strategically are also essential skills for the role.
