TENARIS is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment Specialist - Southern Cone for EXIROS
Exiros is a service company specialized in improving customers’ supply chains through global industrial procurement solutions.
Today, Exiros provides a wide range of industrial procurement services to some of them the Techint Group companies, negotiating more than 7.5 billion dollars per year in purchases of raw materials, industrial goods and services for its customers.
Exiros uses advanced e-procurement technology to increase effectiveness and efficiency in the supply chain. It employs nearly 450 people in Argentina, Arabia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Romania, United States and Venezuela.
A Health, Safety & Environment Specialist is required in EXIROS to develop Health, Safety & Environment programs and plans to ensure Exiros’ contractors and suppliers comply with our customers’ regulations with regards to HSE, as well as with the country’s specific regulations. To develop and follow up HSE improvement plans for contractors delivering critical services.
Main Accountabilities:
- To execute and regularly improve Exiros’ HSE Program (contractors HSE audits, improvement plans), working in close coordination with purchasing teams and Tenaris and Ternium HSE teams.
- To follow up HSE audits plan and HSE improvement plans agreed with each contractor. Recommend course of action when audits results do not meet Exiros’ HSE standards, or suppliers fail to comply with HSE improvement plans.
- To participate actively in the HSE meetings with contractors, end users and Tenaris/ Ternium HSE teams.
- To prepare and constantly update suppliers’ HSE performance indicators, audit results, etc. Ensure easy availability of information for buyers and other interested parties.
- To support and assist Exiros’ buyers, end users, and Tenaris and Ternium HSE teams in issues related to Exiros’ contractors. Organize HSE training activities for Exiros’ personnel.
- To maintain regular contact with Tenaris and Ternium HSE teams, sharing activities and making sure Exiros is fully updated regarding customers’ HSE requirements.
Requirements:
University degree: Engineering.
Specialization: Environment or Industrial Health & Safety.
3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions.
Advanced English is a must.
Mobility (Relocation availability) is appreciated
IT Skills: Office (excel, word, pp)
