-Constantly analyze, investigate, review and propose new technology and/or Technical Applications to support users in Operations and G&G departments
-Plan, design and lead all Technical Application software implementations locally, being part of global or regional teams
-Administration of Technical Application software licenses
-Conduct evaluation for purchase of Technical Application software (standard and non – standard SW)
-Conduct user training on specific technical software
-Review with key users, current business processes and suggest / implement improvements
-Administration of Budget related issues to Technical Application software
-Perform and document system testing
-Report and In House developments
-Constantly analyze, investigate, review and propose new technology and/or Business Applications to support internal users
-Conduct user training on specific Business software
-Review with key users, current business processes and suggest / implement improvements
-Administration of Budget related issues to Business Application software
-Perform and document system testing
-Provide guidance and overall Leadership to Business and Technical Applications teams
-Interact with Key Users and / or departmental managers to handle requirements, expectations and agree on timeframes for solution delivery
-Interact with US support teams, coordinating meetings, project plans, and overall application support
Knowledge on the following software is required:
Landmark Suite (Openwells, DSS, Open works, Geoprobe, Simulation, Geographix), Schlumberger applications (PEEP, IP Interactive Petrophysics, Petrel), GIS systems, Maximo, eVin/Tow.
Additional knoweldge in Oracle, Peoplesoft and Filenet is desired.
