ISI Emerging Markets - Buenos Aires Office
We are seeking a young motivated and highly energetic professional to join our rapidly growing team in the Latin American region. ISI DealWatch is the source for forward-looking information and data on Emerging Market M&A. This person will be responsible for database maintenance and the enhancement of the quality and coverage of our product.
Major Responsibilities:
• Daily selection of news relevant to company mergers and acquisitions, involving either stock market operations or independent deals.
• Linking of selected news stories to relevant industries, to profiles of companies mentioned and to transactions included in the database.
• Adding information on deals to database.
• Calculation of relevant multiples for the acquired company, for the deal and for the related economic sectors.
• Writing concise, objective commentaries on deals, with financial-economic information on companies involved.
• Maintenance and enhancement of the quality and coverage of our Mexican database.
• Implement and adhere to in-house pre-set measures of quality assurance and quality control.
Requirements:
• Degree in Economics (recently graduated welcomed) or still studing
• An excellent command of Spanish and English languages and a solid understanding of economics are essential.
• Proficiency in English and sound knowledge of Latin American macroeconomic statistics are a plus.
• Prior relevant experience in working with financial statements analyses is a plus.

• Independent and able to work under pressure and tight schedules.
