Multinational company which operates worldwide with a wide range of business strategies constantly growing and expanding its operational scope is accepting online applications for the position of U.S. Corporate Tax Manager located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Manage tax team in the shared service center of a large multi-national corporation and the team’s U.S. Corporate income tax filings and assignments.
Collaborate with the U.S. tax team on work assignments, development/training, headcount, and process gaps.
Review Federal and State tax workpapers and returns (Forms 1120, 5471, 8858, etc.).
Review Federal and State estimated and extension tax payments.
Review responses to inquiries from Federal and State revenue agencies.
Determine tax impact of proposed transactions.
Develop and implement systems and procedural changes to improve the tax compliance processes.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
4+ years of U.S. Corporate income tax experience, in public accounting or large multi-national corporations.
A combination of 10+ years accounting/finance experience, U.S. Corporate income tax experience or an advanced U.S. Tax degree.
Solid understanding of U.S. Corporate income taxation and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance and US GAAP concepts.
Experience leading and managing the activities of a group.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and interface with all levels of the organization.
Must be willing to relocate to the U.S. temporarily for development and training.
Proficient with SAP, JDE, Hyperion for analysis, asset tracking and reporting.
Proficient with CORPTAX software for analysis and return preparation.
Proficient with SharePoint for tax data warehousing.
Understanding of or practical experience with tax laws in other countries.
