The Data & Insights Lead is our intelligence center. You will define how the agency understands people, culture, platforms, and performance, and you will turn that understanding into clarity for strategy and fuel for creativity.
This role beautifully blends social listening, data storytelling, cultural insight hunting, and AI-enabled research to help the agency earn attention in culture. You will lead reporting, design measurement frameworks, and be the primary point person for anything related to data, insights, and intelligence.
ResponsibilitiesCultural and Social Intelligence
Social Listening: Lead listening efforts across Brandwatch, Sprinklr, YouScan, and emerging tools.
Frameworks: Build intelligence frameworks that surface cultural tensions, emotional patterns, behavioral shifts, and platform dynamics.
Monitor Culture: Track communities, creators, competitors, and cultural conversations in real time.
Signal Spotting: Identify early signals and build POVs on how brands should act on them.
Translate Energy: Turn cultural energy into insights that sharpen briefs, inspire creative territories, and inform distribution strategies.
First-Party and Zero-Party Data Strategy
Data Partnership: Partner with account and strategy teams to gather, structure, and analyze first-party data.
Experimentation: Design zero-party experiments using polls, surveys, platform-native tools, and content behaviors.
Storytelling: Turn fragmented data into clear narratives that guide pitches, campaigns, and ongoing optimizations.
Reporting and Measurement Leadership
Lead Reporting: Own all performance reporting for social and integrated campaigns.
Cultural Impact: Build reporting frameworks that capture true cultural impact, not just vanity metrics.
Client Presentations: Present insights with clarity, strategic sharpness, and a strong creative point of view.
Shape Philosophy: Define our philosophy for measurement, effectiveness, and cultural resonance.
AI-Enabled Intelligence
AI Synthesis: Use AI tools to synthesize large datasets, cluster content, analyze sentiment, and surface insights.
️ Workflow Creation: Develop repeatable AI workflows that make the intelligence system faster and smarter.
Innovation: Partner with innovation teams to evolve our cultural intelligence stack.
Cross-Agency Collaboration
Strategy Support: Work with strategy to build briefs, territories, and narratives for pitches.
Creative Fuel: Support creative teams with real-time insight packs and cultural maps.
Distribution Alignment: Work with social teams to understand platform performance and audience behavior.
Point Person: Serve as the intelligence lead across multiple clients and internal initiatives.
️ Experience: 3-5+ years in insights, analytics, cultural intelligence, or social strategy at a creative or media agency.
️ Tool Mastery: Deep experience with Brandwatch, Sprinklr, YouScan, Meltwater, Talkwalker, or similar platforms.
Platform Native: Deep understanding of TikTok, IG, YouTube, Reddit, X, and emerging spaces.
Data Storyteller: Strong data storytelling skills and the ability to turn "noise" into a compelling narrative.
Dashboards: Experience building dashboards and working with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI is a big plus!).
️ Confident Presenter: Ability to influence creative and strategic direction confidently.
AI Mindset: AI-native mindset with hands-on experimentation using LLMs and research tools.
