Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Incident Management Analyst with advanced or billingual English level to join our ITC team in our Shared Services Center located in Puerto Madero, Argentina.


Responsibilities for this position will be:


  • Categorizing and prioritizing each request to ensure that adverse impact to business operations is minimized and normal service is restored quickly.
  • Performing optimization of system resources to improve efficiency/performance.
  • Establishing and maintaining standards.
  • Working with different teams and IT partners in different parts of the world
  • Assisting in developing and monitoring service level performance metrics
  • Analyzing incident history records and conducts root-cause analysis on system failures that disrupt normal business operations. Upgrading system quality assurance processes and/or makes application and infrastructure changes to eliminate future incidents.


Experience required:


1 to 2 years providing customer support or interacting with global clients and / or experience as a user of any of the SAP modules or JDE systems (experience in SAP HR is considered a plus).


Required qualifications:


  • Desirable bachelor's degree in Systems Information / Systems Engineering / Business Administration or any other related studies
  • Advanced or bilingual English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
  • Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Good effective communication with both business partners and other IT professionals.
  • Ability to multitask and flexible and adaptable when priorities shift due to changing situations


The position will allow you to expand your knowledge in different ERP’s applications such as SAP and JDE, work on international projects in multicultural teams, and will help you to build a career within the IT Department providing support and consulting to business customers located across Chevron, supporting Systems Applications Products (SAP), JD Edwards (JDE), or other business applications. The team provides global operations to ensure system integrity and quality.
