Job Description – Senior IT Sourcer

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior IT Sourcer to support our Talent Acquisition team in identifying and engaging top technical talent for a wide range of client needs. This role requires strong sourcing expertise, deep knowledge of the Global market, and the ability to quickly build high‑quality pipelines for complex technical roles.

You will work closely with Recruiters, Account Managers, and Hiring Managers to understand project requirements, source candidates proactively, and ensure excellent candidate experience throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Recruiters to understand technical requirements, role expectations, and client priorities.

• Design and execute sourcing strategies for IT roles across LATAM and globally, including niche and senior-level searches.

• Proactively identify, map, and engage talent through advanced sourcing techniques (X-ray, Boolean, GitHub, StackOverflow, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).

• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for recurring skill sets (e.g., Fullstack, Cloud, Data, QA, DevOps, Mobile).

• Track and update candidate activity in the ATS (Staff Signals) in a timely and organized manner.

• Use market insights to advise the TA team on availability, competitiveness, and expected timelines for each search.

• Support improvements in sourcing processes and best practices within the TA organization.

• Ensure excellent candidate experience and Softensity brand representation in every interaction.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an IT Sourcer, preferably in agency or outsourcing environments.

• Strong sourcing expertise and hands-on experience with advanced Boolean/X-Ray techniques.

• Proven ability to source for complex technical roles (AWS, .NET, Angular, React, DevOps, Python, QA Automation, Data Engineering, etc.).

• Experience sourcing talent across LATAM; U.S. market experience is a strong plus.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud technologies, and modern engineering roles.

• Excellent communication skills in English (B2+ required; C1 preferred).

• Experience using ATS tools.

• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple searches at once.

Nice to Have

• Experience collaborating with international clients or distributed teams.

• Familiarity with sourcing tech communities (GitHub, GitLab, StackOverflow, Kaggle, HackerRank).

• Data-driven mindset and ability to present sourcing insights to stakeholders.
