Java Developer (Contractor)

The Java BackEnd Developer is responsible for delivering software solutions according to the architecture of the SaaS platform. In order to be successful in his/her mission the Java BackEnd Developer must be a strong analytic person, who has the ability to map different events and future situations in a scalable design and software solutions that allows -in a flexible way- the entrance of different types of flows/customer journeys and clients. She/He will have the challenge of delivering quality pieces of software that are easily reutilizable and scalable inside the tech ecosystem of the company. The Java BackEnd Developer will participate in different agile ceremonies as well as architecture design workshops to contribute with his/her experience envisioning the state-of the art solutions

Java BackEnd Job Responsibilities:

● Develops and maintains effective and scalable code

● Builds back end components

● Develops internal APIs and creates integrations with external APIs

● Debugs and tests software code

● Works closely with product owners, architects and business analysts

● Collaborates with different team members fostering creativity and analyzing new technologies

● Writes unit/integration tests, contributes to engineering wiki, and documents work.

Fulltime position - 100% remoto

● Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service

● Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies

● Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

● Process oriented with great documentation skills

● Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

● BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

● 5+ years of Java development experience
