Job Summary
Our customer’s team is seeking a seasoned PHP Developer to drive complex web projects and deliver robust, scalable solutions. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in collaborative, remote environments and are passionate about backend and web development. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective global collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain dynamic PHP-based web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project requirements and architectural solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with software engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs and web services to enhance application functionality and user experience.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the broader team.
- Adapt to evolving project needs and continuously improve technical solutions and workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Strong web development knowledge, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relational databases.
- Proven experience building and maintaining scalable web applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Solid understanding of OOP principles, MVC frameworks, and RESTful API development.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on high-traffic, customer-facing platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud services, containerization, or DevOps practices.
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum-based remote teams.
